What is your experience with laser rangefinders on the golf course? Do they really work? Are they worth the $?

OutOfBounds asked:

I am considering buying a laser rangefinder for golf such as one made by Bushnell or Nikon and am skeptical about how well they work - like picking up a flag/flagstick from 200 yards out with a complicated background. What about getting the distance to a hazard like a bunker or a water hazard? If you have used one and have an opinion, I would like to hear about it. Thanks.

An avid golfer and have one it is bushnell they work very well since they work very well since they have scan feature meaning if you can hold down the distance to the steadiest of hands you dont have one it is bushnell.
The flag until you are hitting downhilluphill automatically.
